In sports: German cyclist Stefan Schumacher's team says he tested positive for a banned substance during the Tour de France. Schumacher, who won both individual time trials at the Tour and held the race's overall lead for two days, tested positive for CERA.
That's an advanced version of the blood-boosting hormone EPO. Gerolsteiner manager Hans-Michael Holczer told Germany's SID news agency that he had suspended Schumacher from the team with immediate effect.
