ECM wants to build two buildings at Pankrac, one 104m high and the other 75m high. We believe it only concerns projects that are yet to be completed," ECM vice-president Tomas Vlcek is quoted as saying. Arnika's Marek Jehlicka said he was afraid that Prague could be deleted from the UNESCO list if it fails to comply with the committee's recommendation. The final say is up to the Prague Assembly. ECM reportedly expects the assembly to uphold the recent zoning decision by the district hall in Prague 4, where Pankrac is situated. Prague's chief heritage conservationist Jan Knezinek has consented to the ECM project, the daily writes.
