Zimbabwean opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai says he has reached a power-sharing deal with President Robert Mugabe.
Tsvangirai did not elaborate on the nature of the deal. The chief mediator to the negotiations, South African President Thabo Mbeki, said at a press conference that the full details would be revealed at a ceremony on Monday. Talks were deadlocked over which of the two leaders should be given more power in a unity government. Tsvangirai won the first round of a presidential vote in March and his Movement for Democratic Change party won legislative elections. However, he pulled out of a presidential run-off vote against Mugabe, due to violence against his supporters.
