The project is estimated at 345 million crowns, which is more than 10 times less than the new National Library (NK) project was estimated to cost. Jehlicka also wants to reconstruct NK's Klementinum seat, a baroque building, but the NK management says this is not sufficient and insists on a new building being built. The Museum of Applied Arts from the early 20th century is completely full. That is why it is to get a new depository in Prague-Stodulky. The construction will start in 2012 and the historical building is to be reconstructed. The National Technical Museum at Prague-Letna is already being repaired. It is also to get another depository in Celakovice in Prague-East. (USD1=15.094 crowns)
